Student Council Election Speeches!

The candidates for the 2011-12 OVS STUCO were on the microphone this morning drumming up votes. It was a very informative process that saw the candidates make reasonable promises to their peers. Each candidate was quick to encourage students to vote for the best person for the job… even if it wasn’t one of their best friends! Well done students.

Cross-Country Race Tonight!

The first Middle years cross-country race of the season will take place tonight at 4:00 pm at Morrison Sports Park. The Panthers have been training hard for two weeks and will be looking for big results tonight! Go Panthers!

Meet the Teacher night tonight at OVS!

Teachers will be in their classrooms from 6:30-8:00 pm tonight to meet with parents. No schedules! No appointments! Just stop by and say hello… maybe on your way to hockey registration!

I’m so excited! Oakville School is one of the most rewarding places in the world in which to work. I can’t wait to see all those smiling faces again!
